O&M Power Plant Operations Technician

O&M Power Plant Operations Technician responsible for safe, efficient and compliant operation of the Tarbert, Ireland power station. Operate critical control systems (DCS, HMI, CEMS), monitor plant performance, and perform frontline maintenance across turbine systems and Balance of Plant equipment. Respond to abnormal conditions from the control room or field, coordinate with the Shift Supervisor, and maintain accurate logs and operational data to meet grid and contractual requirements while upholding safety and EHS procedures. After training, assist with LOTO and permit-to-work processes. This fixed-term role requires 12-hour shifts including holidays, weekends, and nights, based in Tarbert, Ireland, through April 2027. You should be proactive, technically skilled, safety-driven, and able to communicate clearly within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
