Job Summary
Manage all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the Miami Wind Energy Center in a safe and environmentally sound manner. Prepare and implement plant operating procedures, recruit and train staff, and prepare annual operating budgets. Interface with local customers and suppliers to procure parts and resolve technical issues while ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and contractual responsibilities. Perform routine quality assurance checks and assist wind technicians in maintenance tasks. Respond to on-site emergencies, including outside of normal working hours, according to safety policies. This role requires a high school diploma, six months of supervisory experience, and the ability to work outdoors in inclement weather. Base pay ranges from $115,000 to $155,000 USD with a 10-40% annual bonus.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of six (6) months of supervisory experience
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather
- Must be able to climb ladders without assistance
- Must be able to work at heights greater than 80 meters (250 feet)
- Weight must not exceed 120 kg (265 lbs.) excluding equipment/gear worn when performing job related tasks
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather

Desired Qualifications
