Job Summary
Install, inspect, calibrate, and repair instrumentation, analysers, and control systems while maintaining plant equipment such as motors, generators, and turbine controls. Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC and DCS control systems, then plan and carry out maintenance work using schematics, drawings, and OEM manuals. Maintain accurate maintenance records and technical documentation to support safe plant operations. This role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor at Kanadevia Inova's Westfield Energy From Waste plant, contributing to waste-to-value technologies that produce energy, heat, hydrogen, and fertilizer.
Required Qualifications
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship in Electrical or Instrumentation
- IOSH Managing Safely or similar safety qualification
- Solid experience as an EC&I / instrumentation technician
- Experience in industrial, power generation or process environments
- Strong knowledge of transmitters, valves, analysers and calibration
- Experience working with PLC and DCS systems
- Good understanding of safe plant operations and HSE requirements
Desired Qualifications
- HNC/HND in Engineering desirable
