Job Summary
Lead and support the development and deployment of new technologies and tooling for GE Vernova's Wind Service OM&U business, focusing on robotics and automation. Drive global validations and beta periods for tooling and processes, establish validation teams and site logistics, and oversee data collection and reporting. Define global training requirements and curriculum, create and deliver global training sessions, and manage knowledge transfer for new tools and automation products. Own the full operational deployment process including cost/benefit alignment, procurement planning, logistics, team staffing, spare parts protocols, and regional operation strategies. Provide technical direction, including off-hour remote and on-site support to ensure safe, high-quality, compliant execution. Lead continuous improvement efforts (lean, Kaizen, PSRs) and develop new standards; collaborate across Wind Engineering, Product Line, Regional Execution Teams, EHS, and other stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs, with strong project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of working with limited supervision in a global, matrix environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field (or High School Diploma / GED with minimum 4 years Wind industry experience)
- Ability and willingness to travel 50% of the time (including international travel)
