Job Summary

Conduct pre-show prep, writing, and production for Rochester's sports and entertainment brands, including gathering audio/video, screening calls, and managing video streams. Edit audio and podcast content, handle voiceover and commercial production, and contribute to social media and website operations. Assist in live broadcasts, station appearances, and editing show clips for client endorsements while collaborating with marketing and sales teams. Schedule music, attend training sessions, and support daily office functions aligned with brand goals. Work three days a week, up to 20 hours, with a competitive hourly wage.

Required Qualifications

  • actively enrolled in a U.S. accredited college or university degree
  • resident of New York State and/or attending school in New York State
  • college junior and senior
  • 18 years or older
  • Proper authorization needed to be employed within the United States
  • first time entrant into the New York State Broadcasters Association internship program
  • Must be able to work 3 days/up to 20 hours a week (5a-12n or 2p-6p)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to excel in a team environment, yet resourceful and self-motivated
