Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations, psychosocial assessments, and crisis interventions while developing and revising treatment plans for individuals, families, and groups. Provide individual, group, family, and collateral therapy services using a trauma-informed, culturally affirming approach. Liaise with schools, criminal justice agencies, and community partners to coordinate care, and actively participate in clinical meetings, supervision, and case conferences. Maintain documentation in electronic health records and adhere to professional ethical standards. Work in a hybrid setting across multiple clinic locations in Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Manhattan, with travel required between sites.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in counseling, creative arts, or social work from an accredited program
- New York State License or limited permit in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC)
- Creative Arts Therapy (LCAT)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- social work (LMSW)
- Experience with documenting in electronic health records
- using Microsoft Office software
- The ability to read paper and electronic documents
- perform significant data entry into various computer programs
- Hybrid work setting
- combination of in person and remote work
- Travel required between program locations and other Jewish Board sites
Desired Qualifications
- Experience treating children or adolescents
- Fluency in a second language
- Experience with tele mental health platforms
