Job Summary
NYC MSP Mid-Level Field Technician (Mac/Windows) provides remote and on-site support in the greater New York metro area, with dual proficiency in Windows and Mac environments. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware/software, conducting root-cause analysis, documenting all work in ConnectWise, following KBAs, collaborating with internal teams and vendors, and participating in after-hours on-call rotation. Technical proficiencies include Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android, VPN, DNS/AD knowledge, M365/Google Admin Console, SharePoint, Parallels, and various enterprise network equipment (SonicWall, Meraki, Unifi). The role demands strong customer-facing skills, organizational discipline, and the ability to document and escalate issues effectively. A minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting Windows and Apple environments is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience supporting Windows and Apple environments
- Strong customer-facing skills and documentation
- Proficient in Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android
- Experience with ConnectWise or similar ticketing/RMM/PSA tools
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Team-oriented and able to work in fast-paced environment
