NVH Engineer
On-siteTroy, Michigan, United States
Job Summary
Develop and execute NVH performance targets for vehicle or component systems by performing analysis using simulation and testing methods. Identify and resolve noise and vibration issues in early and late development phases through modal analysis, frequency response, and structural vibration studies. Correlate CAE models with physical test data to support design improvements for powertrain NVH, body structure NVH, road noise, and wind noise. Conduct root cause analysis for NVH issues and propose engineering solutions while working with cross-functional teams including design, durability, and vehicle dynamics. Support prototype and production vehicle testing, document results, and present technical findings to stakeholders to ensure NVH requirements are met during program milestones.
