Job Summary
Facilitate group and individual therapy, conduct assessments, and complete treatment and discharge planning for adults and adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric setting. Engage as part of an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and maintain professional boundaries while managing therapeutic limit-setting and behavior modalities. Requires a Master's degree and current Nevada license as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Professional Counselor, with one year of inpatient clinical experience preferred. Shifts include 10-hour and 8-hour day rotations with some weekends, alongside benefits such as tuition reimbursement, paid supervision, and comprehensive health coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work or a related field
- Current Nevada license (or intern license) as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Professional Counselor
- CPR prior to completion of new hire orientation
- Therapeutic Options prior to completion of new hire orientation
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of inpatient clinical work with experience in diagnosis, psychotherapy and assessment-based treatment planning
- Basic knowledge of human growth and development
- Maintains current knowledge of social, medical and psychiatric services available within the community
- Experience with therapeutic limit-setting helpful or an understanding of level systems or other behavior management modalities helpful
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries
