Job Summary
Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and controls issues across automation systems including conveyors, sortation, and ASRS. Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, servo systems, and industrial networks while serving as technical owner for key systems and leading root cause analysis to implement reliability improvements. Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, coordinate with OEMs for advanced support, and mentor Maintenance Technicians I & II. Document all activities in the CMMS and assist with equipment upgrades and capital projects. Work Wednesday through Saturday from 5:30pm to 4:00am in Raymore, Missouri.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in automated environments
- Strong experience with PLCs, servo systems, and advanced electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to lead complex troubleshooting and maintenance efforts
- Experience with CMMS systems
- Advanced electrical controls troubleshooting
- PLC diagnostics and automation systems expertise
- Knowledge of Industrial networking, servo systems, and control systems
- Mechanical systems and power transmission
- Leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to stand and walk throughout a shift
- Must be able to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods
- Must be able to reach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to operate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position (i.e. pallet jack, box cutter, carts)
