Job Summary
Evaluate and monitor patients' nutritional status while conducting nutrition education and counseling sessions. Organize and develop individualized therapeutic diets, then complete necessary reports and document patient services in the medical record. Plan, conduct, and participate in nutrition education presentations, workshops, and health fairs for the agency. Direct prenatal clients to local WIC offices and facilitate related services while maintaining confidentiality. Conferences with the Director of Nutrition as needed to share pertinent information for patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Dietitians (RD)
- Minimum of B.S. in Nutrition or Health Education with experience
Desired Qualifications
- New York State licensure preferred
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
