NUTRITIONAL SERVICES - CAFE CASHIER

Cafe Cashier at Idaho Falls Community Hospital operates the POS system to checkout customers, ring up sales, process payments (cash/credit/debit/gift cards/employee payroll deduction), and issue gift cards. Maintains FIFO stock, stocks cafe area, rotates items, and keeps the vision cooler stocked. Prepares nightly deposits, assists customers, guides guests through ordering, and keeps the cafe area clean and tidy. Responsible for stocking and rotating condiments and disposable items, maintaining vending/dispensing equipment, and assisting cooks by notifying them of items needing preparation. At day end, completes deposit tasks, updates menu boards as needed (Lead role), and adheres to PCI standards and department policies.
