Nutrition Worker (POOL)

Prepare and serve safe, tasty, and attractive foods to students according to school nutrition program guidelines while adhering to federal, state, and local regulations. Perform food preparation, serve meals, and clean up as assigned by the manager without modifying recipes without approval. Ensure adherence to food safety procedures by washing dishes, storing them properly, sweeping kitchen floors, and operating food service equipment. Maintain records for menu management books, assist with ordering and controlling food supplies, and operate computers for meal transactions and cash counts. Attend job-related training classes and workshops. This grade 13, 185-day position involves light independent judgment and regular contact with school administration, faculty, and students in a school kitchen environment subject to varying temperatures and noise levels.
