Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •Two (2) years of experience in a supervisory position for a social, health service, recreation, nutrition, or similar program
• •Valid California Driver's License
• •Personal auto liability insurance
• •Personal vehicle in good driving/operating condition
• •Vehicle insured for State minimum liability requirements
• •Current CPR and First Aid certification within six (6) months of hire
• •Clearance of a DOJ and FBI criminal history background check
• •Motor Vehicle Report verification

• •Ability to incorporate an understanding of detailed requirements in work activities
• •Ability to collect and analyze data
• •Ability to coordinate, advocate, and cooperate with other agencies for seniors with tact and diplomacy
• •Ability to speak to public and private community groups about agency programs and to participate in various outreach and fundraising efforts as required
• •Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and use hands for frequent computer and administrative tasks
• •Regular travel to dining centers, meal sites, community locations, and agency facilities is required
• •Driving a personal vehicle is required
• •The position may require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling materials and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
• •The employee must be able to occasionally assist with program operations, including meal service activities
• •The employee must be able to safely navigate a variety of indoor and outdoor environments

Desired Qualifications

• •Associates degree from accredited college or university with emphasis in public health, community nutrition, health education, or gerontology
• •Experience working with older adults, grant management, and program planning
• •COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) vaccines preferred
