Job Summary
Prepare and serve meals at assigned child development centers while cleaning and washing equipment used in meal preparation. Maintain a clean area and establish good rapport with coworkers, children, and parents. Assist in the care, supervision, and safety of center children. Follow all TVCCA, program, and state food handling regulations, policies, and procedures. Maintain compassion and understanding for the needs of children and families from all backgrounds. Obtain and maintain first-aid, CPR, and medication administration certification within six months of hire. Provide a TVCCA Staff Statement of Good Health signed by a physician, physician's assistant, or nurse practitioner completed within twelve months before employment and every thirty-six months for current staff. Minimum age of 18 years required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Have access to reliable, insured transportation
- Must have or obtain and maintain first-aid, CPR, and medication administration certification within six months of hire
- Provide a TVCCA Staff Statement of Good Health statement signed by a physician, physician's assistant, or nurse practitioner completed within Twelve (12) months before the date of employment, and every thirty-six (36) months for current staff
- Minimum 18 years of age
