Job Summary
Nutrition Services Van Driver responsible for safe, timely delivery of prepared meals to designated school sites; conducts pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintains sanitation, handles cash deposits, supports on-site catering for district events, maintains deposit logs and compliance paperwork, assists kitchen staff, and upholds positive public relations with students, staff, and the community; requires ServSafe certification, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong organizational and communication skills. Base hourly rate $20.97; schedule 4.75 hours/day, five days/week, following the student calendar; start August 2026.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Current ServSafe Manager or Food Handler certification
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk/bend for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as a self-directed team member
- Proficient with POS systems and digital communication tools
- Confidentiality in accordance with privacy laws
- Accurate mathematical calculations
- Alternative qualifications may be considered as needed by the Board
