Job Summary
Nutrition Services Tech responsible for a range of nutrition services including food preparation, barista duties, and dishwashing in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include following recipes and production sheets, maintaining sanitation standards, recording temperatures, patient meal host duties (obtaining patient meal selections, delivering trays), providing excellent customer service, operating and setting up equipment, keeping service areas stocked, and adhering to department protocols. Requires the ability to work in a team as well as independently, strong organizational and communication skills, and familiarity with safety and sanitation practices; prior ServSafe or Food Handlers certification and barista experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established procedures required.
- Must be self-motivated, able to perform job duties without direct supervision, and able to work alone, as well as part of a team.
- Possess basic computer skills required.
