Job Summary
Assist in preparation and serving of food, clean dining and kitchen areas, and serve food in the cafeteria line. Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans while operating the dishwasher, and may relieve or assist other employees in higher-level food preparation tasks during emergencies. Practice all sanitation and health regulations and demonstrate exemplary customer service. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position. On-call status applies with varying hours. New hires are conditional upon passing a fingerprint screening.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Washington State Department of Health Food Worker's Card
- Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English
- Ability to lift 40 or more pounds
- Demonstrate exemplary customer service and responsiveness
- Demonstrate aptitude and manual dexterity for successful performance of tasks listed
- Ability to demonstrate punctuality and an excellent work attendance record
- Passing a fingerprint screening
