Job Summary
Responsible for supporting the school nutrition program by preparing meals according to planned menus and recipes, serving meals to students, teachers, staff, and community, cleaning and maintaining the kitchen, labeling and preparing food for storage, and operating the cash register. Duties include following safe food handling procedures, interacting positively with students and staff, maintaining equipment, assisting co-workers, and performing other assigned duties. Requires English language skills, basic math, customer service, ability to manage multiple tasks, promote safety, and comply with Board/department policies; mandatory Title IX training. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Criminal background check required.
