Job Summary
Deliver and retrieve patient trays, stock foodservice supplies, and operate the POS system. Prepare, portion, and serve food while ensuring proper temperatures and nutrition order compliance. Assist with tray assembly, answer meal request calls, and clean up catered functions. Perform ware washing, stage food, and pick up soiled trays for kitchen return. Utilize two patient identifiers to verify safety and check with patients for missing items. Requires walking up to seven hours and lifting up to 50 pounds. High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred. On-job training provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency
- Must be able to walk for up to 7 hours, 30 minutes at a time
- Must be able to sit for up to 1 hour at a time
- Must be able to stand up to 1 1/2 hours for 30 minutes at a time
- Must be able to lift (1-50 lb.)
- Must be able to carry (1-50 lb.)
- Must be able to push (1-50 lb.)
- Must be able to pull (1-50 lb.)
- Must have the ability to hear normal conversation
- Must have general vision, far vision, and peripheral vision
- Must be available every other weekend
- Must be available every other holiday
