Job Summary
Nutrition Services Aide role in hospital Nutrition Services: deliver and retrieve patient trays, stock supplies, operate a POS system, portion food, perform ware washing and general cleaning, assist with tray assembly, and ensure meals meet nutrition orders. Maintain patient safety with two patient identifiers, verify tray accuracy and temperature, and deliver trays to patients. Supports catered functions and routine communications for patient meal requests. Work schedule is full-time days, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED equivalency preferred; prior customer service or food service experience is preferred. This role involves standing/walking for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lb in a hospital setting.
