Job Summary
Field-based Nutrition Sales Representative Primary Care in Edmonton, Alberta, responsible for detailing and sampling Abbott Nutrition products to community-based health care professionals (GPs, RNs, RDs), building relationships, and driving territory performance. Uses Salesforce.com to document activities, analyzes KPI data, develops territory plans, presents business reviews to the RSM, manages inventory of samples and promotional materials, optimizes call coverage and geo-point data, and supports both adult and pediatric product lines. Requires strong presentation and relationship-building skills, ability to work autonomously, and willingness to travel up to 10% with a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in business, marketing or science - background in nutrition an asset
- 1 to 3 years of sales experience
- Strong presentation skills
- Aptitude for quickly developing relationships and gaining access to customers
- Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Salesforce.com
- Ability to work autonomously and travel up to ~10%
- Valid driver's license and ability to lift/carry and manage car stock and sample delivery
