Job Summary
Nutrition Program Director to plan, evaluate, and oversee nutrition services for older adults and individuals with disabilities; ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements while meeting participants’ nutritional needs. Responsibilities include developing initiatives to optimize program operations, recruiting/training/evaluating staff, overseeing nutrition billing and quality measures, maintaining program quality per policies, engaging in outreach and partnerships with meal sites and community entities, supervising nutrition program staff and dietitians, participating in contracting processes, and attending network/statewide meetings. The role requires collaboration across teams, strong communication and computer skills, ability to analyze statistical/financial data, and travel; offered in a hybrid work environment (home, office, and home visits) with a 35-hour work week and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to travel and reliable means of transportation
- Must have personal computer with secure internet access at home
- Experience with nutrition program operations, billing, and quality measures
- Experience supervising staff (nutrition program staff, supervisors, dietitian)
- Experience with planning, evaluating, and overseeing nutrition services and programs
- Contracting processes experience (or involvement)
- ASAP experience highly preferred
