Job Summary
Collect resident dietary data, obtain food preferences, and provide feedback to the care team. Print and organize meal tickets prior to service, support menu planning, and conduct meal rounds while ensuring compliance with dietary standards. Maintain Nourishment Kitchens and coordinate the dining experience, including set-up, service, and clean-up. Participate in facility audits, sanitation checks, and quality control processes as needed. Requires one year of food service experience in a skilled long-term care facility or hospital, computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR, and the ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Computer experience including Microsoft Office, Office 365, EMR
- One year of food service experience in skilled long-term care facility or hospital healthcare setting
- Ability to interact with individuals of all backgrounds
- Effective written, spoken, and non-verbal communication
- Service-oriented mentality with a focus on exceeding expectations
- Positive and professional demeanor and appearance
- Self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize projects and needs
- Willingness to provide support where needed to achieve outcomes
- Demonstrate integrity, respect, and discretion in all business dealings
