Job Summary
Conduct nutrition assessments, counseling, and education for all level WIC participants at the CompreCare Health Center. Assist and oversee the development, implementation, evaluation of the WIC Program, and evaluation of all nutrition education activities. Apply now as applications are reviewed on a first come first serve basis. This full-time role offers a salary of $45.00 - $50.00/hourly.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics
- Registered Dietitian (including credentialing through the commission on dietetics registration (CDR))
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum six (6) months WIC experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Basic Computer Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Strong problem solving skills
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of maternal and child nutrition; clinical nutrition; community nutrition; current trends in nutrition; nutrition education methods/materials; and hi-risk nutrition factors
- Ability to perform nutrition assessments, counsel participants and effectively use and evaluate nutrition education methods and materials
