Nutrition Assistant II

Prepare and deliver meal trays while monitoring food temperatures, preventing cross-contamination, and maintaining proper labeling and storage. Assist with food preparation, ensure compliance with therapeutic diet modifications and allergy restrictions, and explain menu options to patients and family members. Collect and distribute food preferences to the kitchen, navigate electronic health records for diet orders, and operate diet office software. Provide service recovery efforts, perform general cleaning of equipment and work areas, and escalate nutrition questions to clinical support as needed.
