Nutrition Assistant I

Assist in food preparation, tray assembly, and delivery while interacting positively with patients, guests, and staff to support healthcare foodservice operations. Monitor and maintain food temperatures during cooking, holding, and storage processes, and prepare meals adhering to menu and dietary requirements. Ensure proper meal portioning, presentation, and labeling while avoiding cross-contamination and adhering to personal hygiene standards. Maintain food equipment and machinery per facility guidelines. Requires one year of food service or customer service experience; FHP within 30 days or state requirement.
