Job Summary
Monitor and maintain food temperatures during cooking, holding, and storage while avoiding cross-contamination and adhering to personal hygiene standards. Prepare and serve meals according to menu and dietary requirements, ensuring proper portioning and presentation. Support healthcare foodservice operations by cashiering, serving, assembling trays, performing cold prep, dishwashing, inventory maintenance, and general cleaning duties. Obtain a Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of hire if required by local health codes. This role supports St. Mary-Corwin's clinical strength in cancer care and orthopedic services within Pueblo, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- One year of food service experience
- Must be able to exert up to 50lbs force occasionally
- Must be able to exert up to 20lbs frequently
- Must be able to exert up to 10lbs constantly
- Food Handlers Permit (if required by state, county or local health code, must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
