Nutrition Assistant I

Prepare and deliver meal trays, assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure food safety compliance while interacting with patients regarding dietary needs. Monitor and maintain food temperatures during cooking, holding, and storage processes to avoid cross-contamination and adhere to personal hygiene requirements. Maintain proper labeling of food products, ensure storage of equipment per regulations, and prepare servings within menu and dietary guidelines. Ensure proper meal portioning and aesthetically pleasing presentation while maintaining knowledge of recipe ingredients to respond to food allergy questions. Requires one year of food service experience, Food Handler Permit or Servsafe Certification within 30 days.
