Job Summary
Prepare and serve nourishment and supplements, wash and sanitize dishes, pots, tableware, and utensils, and clear dining tables and traylines. Clean and sanitize equipment, perform various food preparation tasks, and deliver soiled linens to the laundry. Maintain daily care of dishwashing areas, empty trash cans, and sweep or mop floors. Complete logs, fill orders for between-meal nourishments, and identify safety hazards. Ensure sanitation and quality standards are met while attending in-services and complying with patient care systems. This role supports the delivery of nutrition services at Cantex, ensuring resident safety and adherence to abuse prevention policies.
Required Qualifications
- Current state Food Handler Certificate
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in food service and using food service equipment
