Assure sanitation and quality standards by washing and sanitizing dishes, pots, tableware, and utensils as needed. Prepare dining room tables and patient room trays with proper tableware, condiments, and tray tickets while performing various food preparation tasks and assisting in apportioning servings. Serve beverages for trayline and dining rooms, fill orders for between-meal nourishments, and deliver nourishment and supplements identified with patient labels. Clear and wipe dining tables and trayline following meals, maintain daily care of dishwashing and work areas, empty trash cans per shift, and sweep or mop floors. Deliver soiled linens to the laundry department and identify and correct safety hazards. Maintain tray tickets, complete logs as assigned, and attend in-services to comply with Patient Care Management Systems.
