Job Summary
Nutrition Services Aide position supports the delivery of nutrition services in a skilled nursing setting. Responsibilities include preparing and/or serving food items, preparing tables and patient room trays with proper tableware and condiments, washing dishes and utensils, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, completing logs, delivering nourishments and supplements, and assisting with trayline and dining room operations. The role also involves handling and delivering soiled linens to the laundry, identifying safety hazards, and performing general cleaning and floor care tasks. Requires a Current state Food Handler Certificate, and English reading/writing/speaking ability; prior experience in food service and familiarity with food service equipment is preferred.
