Evaluate patients' nutritional status through clinical, biochemical, and anthropometric exams; formulate and prescribe specific dietary plans based on clinical diagnosis. Conduct daily visits to hospitalized patients to monitor food acceptance and nutritional evolution. Document all nutritional conduct and progress in electronic or physical medical records. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and case discussions with the healthcare team. Monitor patients on enteral or parenteral therapy alongside specialized staff. Issue and review hospital diet labels with kitchen and dairy production. Assess and indicate the use of nutritional supplements when necessary. Provide nutritional guidance during hospital discharge when applicable.
