Job Summary
Provide onsite and remote Break & Fix support for networking and infrastructure incidents across enterprise environments. Deploy, configure, and manage Nutanix HCI environments including AOS, AHV, and Prism. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, virtualization, and network issues involving TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP. Implement and support backup and disaster recovery solutions while responding to critical incidents within agreed response times. Collaborate with global teams on infrastructure projects and maintain accurate technical documentation and service records. Ensure professional interaction with end users and stakeholders. This freelance, on-call role requires a valid CCNA certification and fluent English, with coverage across multiple cities in Norway.
Required Qualifications
- ID/ Passport/ valid work permit
- CCNA Certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure, virtualization, networking, or IT support engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with the Nutanix ecosystem (AOS, AHV, Prism)
- Experience supporting VMware and/or Hyper-V environments
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching
- Proven experience providing Break & Fix support in enterprise environments
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and networking issues
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Valid CCNA Certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
- Fluent English & Local communication skills (spoken and written)
- Must be available for onsite and remote Break & Fix support
- Must be available for deployment, configuration, and management of Nutanix HCI environments
- Must be available for system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management
- Must be available for troubleshooting and resolution of hardware, software, virtualization, and network issues
- Must be available for diagnosis and resolution of network connectivity problems involving TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and related technologies
- Must be available for implementation and support of backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Must be available to respond to critical incidents and service requests within agreed response times
- Must be available to collaborate with global and regional teams on infrastructure and cloud-related projects
- Must be available to maintain accurate technical documentation, incident reports, and service records
- Must be available to ensure professional interaction with end users, stakeholders, and customers

Desired Qualifications
