Job Summary
Deliver preventive, therapeutic, and emergency nursing care to Soldiers and their families under the supervision of a physician, registered nurse, or non-commissioned officer. Complete 10 weeks of Basic Training followed by 52 weeks of Advanced Individual Training to achieve licensure. Maintain eligibility by meeting height/weight standards, holding no felony-level offenses, DUI history, or disqualifying medical procedures, and ensuring tattoos on hands, face, or above the neck are absent. Utilize one of 30 available nationally recognized certifications to support your role.
Required Qualifications
- 10 weeks of Basic Training
- 52 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
- 101 ASVAB Score: Skilled Technical (ST)
- 107 ASVAB Score: General Technical (GT)
- Must have an interest in joining the Army
- Must be able to meet height/weight requirements
- No tattoos on hands, face, or above the neck (ring tattoos are acceptable)
- No history of a felony-level offense or DUI
- No major medical procedures would prohibit you from service
