Job Summary
Nursing Unit Manager to lead and manage nursing operations within the assigned unit, oversee patient care delivery, guide nursing staff, and ensure clinical excellence and patient safety. Responsibilities include maintaining nursing standards, coordinating services, staffing, conferences and training participation, audits and quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and development/evaluation of nursing care plans. Requires Master’s in Nursing and a valid license, 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience, and demonstrated leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing with a valid nursing license to practice in the state
- 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in nursing or healthcare settings
- Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Ability to lead teams while maintaining a patient-centric approach to care
