Job Summary
Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. The staff nurse works within organizational policies and procedures and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. Responsible for maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff to deliver quality nursing care. Licensure required in Georgia as RN or NLC/eNLC Multistate, BLS certification, nursing program graduate, and hospital-based experience preferred for PRN roles; Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced specialty certification encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification required
- For PRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Bachelor?s degree preferred
- Advanced certification in field of specialty (see addendum)
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
