Nursing Technician - MedCenter ED

Support patients with daily living tasks, including meals, personal care, and progressive mobility to support recovery and plan of care. Assess patients' quality of life related to nutrition, hydration, and elimination to distribute resources and anticipate needs. Admit, transfer, and discharge patients to appropriate locations in line with the plan of care. Assist with elimination needs, including ostomy care, enemas, and condom catheters. Maintain unit inventories of supplies and equipment to ensure a clean and safe environment adhering to National Patient Safety Goals. Verify fall risk patients have appropriate armbands, socks, and signage. Requires BLS certification and Nurse Aide Certification; 6 months of related experience.
