NURSING TECHNICIAN

Assist in providing a variety of patient care related duties under the supervision of the RN in a cooperative effort with the health care team. Maintain the standards of nursing care for all patients and implement the policies and procedures of the unit, Hospital, and Nursing Department. Focus on assessing patient status and implementing clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms and improve outcomes for cardiac diagnoses. Requires entry-level knowledge, high school diploma or GED, 1-3 years of experience, and GNA/CNA licensure.
