Job Summary
Assist in patient care by performing duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. Collect patient data, provide appropriate care, and reinforce patient instructions while ensuring compliance with the Patient's Bill of Rights. Report patient needs promptly, organize care assignments, complete tasks timely, and document accurately on medical records and forms. Perform treatments and procedures according to established hospital policy. Requires a High School Diploma, CNA training or relevant experience, BLS certification, computer literacy, and basic English proficiency. Posted salary is $29.43 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Successful completion of a duly authorized CNA Training Program
- Student enrolled in a nursing program who has completed fundamentals of nursing including clinical rotation
- Relevant work experience, including nursing assistant and/or personal care aide
- BLS from American Heart Association
- Computer literacy
- Ability to read and write basic English
