Job Summary
Assist the RN in providing patient care duties while maintaining nursing care standards and implementing hospital policies. Float to designated areas including Critical Care, Acute Care, Telemetry, ED, BHU, and OR. Utilize skills in Synquest, medical terminology, Hoyer lifts, and specialty beds to support the health care team. Requires GNA/CNA licensure, BLS card, and 1-3 years of experience in critical care or acute settings.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience preferably in Critical Care, Acute Care, Telemetry, ED, BHU, or OR
- Basic computer skills
- Synquest
- Medical terminology
- Hoyer lift
- Communication devices
- Specialty beds
- Automatic B/P cuff
- GNA / CNA Licensure
- BLS card from AHA
- Must be able to float to all designated areas (Critical Care, Acute Care, Telemetry, ED, BHU, and OR)
