Nursing Supervisor - (Night Shift)

Job Summary
Assess patient needs, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, and orthopedic conditions. Supervise and mentor registered nurses and licensed practical nurses by assigning tasks, providing feedback, and ensuring adherence to hospital policies. Monitor patient outcomes, identify risks, and contribute to continuous quality improvement while fostering a respectful environment for patients and families. Prepare schedules, manage budgets, and collaborate with departments to ensure efficient patient care flow. Requires current RN license, BLS, and ACLS certification; 2 years of medical-surgical experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered registered nurse license to practice professional nursing in the state where currently practicing
- Current BLS via the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Current ACLS certification via the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Previous supervisory experience
- Proven track record of leading and improving clinical quality, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency
- Strong understanding of current trends and best practices in rehabilitation medicine
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Passion for patient-centered care and a commitment to rehabilitation services
- Speaks and communicates English effectively in verbal and written format; writes legibly
- Functions proficiently in a Microsoft Windows environment (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Current Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN®)
- Previous supervisory experience
