Job Summary
Schedule and assign nursing staff to meet resident care requirements. Establish a compassionate environment by supporting residents and families while answering their questions. Implement rules and regulations to maintain a safe, clean workspace and monitor confidential information processing. Document resident care services and foster cooperative relationships among the healthcare team. Maintain a strong, positive presence as a team director for all staff members. This temporary, 4-8 week role begins in September/October at Luxor Nursing and Rehabilitation at Mills Pond in St. James, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 3 years Long-Term Care experience
- Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 3 years Long-Term Care experience required
Desired Qualifications
- Strong and positive team director for all members of the staff
- Familiar with Point Click Care EMR
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer skills
