Job Summary
Respond immediately to residents' requests while supervising nursing care services and staff on all units. Actively promote facility safety programs and may assume responsibility as the Infection Preventionist Nurse. Step in for the Assistant Director of Nursing Services or Director of Nursing Services when they are absent. Maintain a state license and at least two years of nursing experience with one year in leadership. Requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, and visitors, with proficiency in English at an intermediate or advanced level.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a state license in applicable state you are performing work
- Current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience
- At least one (1) year of experience in a nursing leadership role
- Current BLS/CPR
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level
Desired Qualifications
- Interest or experience in geriatrics
- Experience with dementia population
