Job Summary
Nursing Supervisor position (Nursing Supervisor, Full Time) directs nursing staff on shift to deliver safe, efficient, therapeutic care and serves as facility representative in leadership absence. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with policies and standards of nursing care, investigating non-compliant matters, maintaining effective communication with patients/families and the care team, applying the nursing process (assessment, care planning, intervention, evaluation, documentation), giving/receiving shift reports, supervising staff, providing required education, conducting rounds, and assisting in budgeting and staffing coordination. Requires active Florida RN license, CPR, 1-3 years in healthcare facility, supervisory exposure, and proficiency with clinical software; BSN preferred. Must read/write/understand English. Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and perform related duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Clear and Active Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of Florida
- CPR certification
- 1-3 years of experience in a Health Care Facility
- Must have knowledge of computer office/clinical software
- Must be able to read, write and understand the English language
