Job Summary
Nursing Supervisor oversees nursing staff, lab personnel, and X-ray Tech within the clinic provider team, assists Providers in the provision of primary health care, and performs designated independent procedures. Responsible for the supervision and development of nursing activities, training, disciplinary actions, and ensuring QA/quality improvement, OSHA infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance. Maintains credentialing and licensure, participates in staff education, performance improvement activities, and ensures a safe, clean, and ready healthcare environment; collaborates with the Chief Medical Officer on long-range planning and program management.
Required Qualifications
- Certification of practice as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of three-years clinical experience with one-year of experience in quality improvement, safety management, or infection control
- Minimum of three years supervisory experience
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of Medicare and regulatory and credentialing criteria and standards
- RN license
