Job Summary
Conduct direct and indirect patient care for home infusion services while overseeing complete patient assessments, care planning, and caregiver education. Supervise field staff by evaluating the quality of home evaluations, reviewing nursing care plans, and directing necessary modifications. Manage daily office operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and report nursing operational and financial data to leadership. Act as the alternate administrator or director of nursing for Medicare-certified agencies when required. Coordinate on-call responsibilities and participate in infection prevention and process improvement teams. Provide clinical support to sales professionals and assist in staff recruitment and development.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a license in the current state of practice
- 1 year of nursing supervisory/charge experience, or at least 3 years of relevant nursing experience with demonstrated progression
- Required certification in CPR
- Member of a state or national professional organization
- Access to a reliable means of transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of insurance
- Experience applying knowledge of local, State, Federal, accrediting body, and OSHA rules and regulations
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers
- Experience in the indirect management of team members
- Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Word
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel
- Basic skill level in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Experience developing ways of accomplishing goals with little or no supervision
- Willing to travel at least 50% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state)
- Must be physically present on the premises or immediately accessible via telecommunication at all times during operating hours when patients are receiving infusion services
Desired Qualifications
- BSN
- CRNI or other professional certification
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a hospital or home health care setting
- At least 1 year of experience in the indirect management of team members, including assisting in the development, training, and assignment of work/projects to other members of a team
