Job Summary
Supervise and support daily clinical nursing operations within a fast-paced family medicine office, overseeing scheduling, workflow, and performance of nursing and medical assistant staff. Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, OSHA standards, and HIPAA regulations while assisting providers with patient examinations, procedures, and care coordination. Conduct staff training, onboarding, and ongoing clinical education; monitor and maintain medication management, vaccine administration, and supply inventory. Serve as a point of escalation for patient concerns and clinical issues. Requires an active RN or LPN license in Virginia with 2+ years of primary care experience, prior supervisory experience, and CPR/BLS certification. Located in Gainesville, VA, this role supports a trusted primary care practice committed to personalized, compassionate healthcare in a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Virginia
- 2+ years of nursing experience in a primary care or family medicine setting preferred
- Prior supervisory or lead nursing experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of clinical workflows, EMR systems (Athenahealth preferred), and medical office procedures
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Compassionate, organized, and patient-focused demeanor
