Job Summary
Lead and mentor a team of credentialed veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants in a fast-paced veterinary emergency department. Responsible for coaching staff growth, addressing team issues while protecting patients, collaborating with hospital leadership on performance and growth, ensuring efficient hospital flow aligned with VEG’s patient-centered approach, addressing customer concerns in real-time, maintaining patient and family comfort, managing nursing schedules and daily coverage, guiding team utilization to meet operational and development goals, leading team huddles, and collaborating across leadership to ensure smooth hospital operations.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a clinical veterinary nursing or technician role
