Job Summary
Nursing Supervisor in Cardiology Office oversees and supports nursing staff and clinical activities in the cardiology office. Responsibilities include assisting cardiologists and APPs with in-office procedures, performing general nursing duties, interpreting electrocardiograms, interrogating and adjusting pacemaker/defibrillator devices with cardiologists, ensuring sterile technique and proper injection procedures, providing post-procedural follow-up, managing anticoagulation therapies under cardiologist guidance, preparing equipment, aiding in patient treatment and examinations, maintaining supplies and inventory, ensuring medication safety, supervising stress tests (nuclear, treadmill, chemical), leading a team, and supporting practice leadership initiatives. Requires ability to supervise stress tests, read ECGs, strong communication, EMR proficiency, leadership ability, and ongoing professional development. Education: Bachelor's of Nursing; Licenses/Certifications: RN and BLS Required; ACLS and BEKG preferred. Travel up to 25%; Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM; Location: Palm Harbor, FL; Salary range: $33.99–$63.22 hourly.
